Hope this letter is finding you in good health. The scholarship has helped me to purchase books for my first year in college as well as provided me the opportunity manage a large amount of money and to effectively budget. I am currently a very involved college student. Aside from working an office job on campus, I am an active member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Incorporated, Treasurer of the National Pan-Hellenic Council, and Director of Finance for our BSU, standing member of the Alliance of Preservation for African Consciousness (APAC), and a representative for the Afro Ethnic Student Association (AESA). School-wise, I am a double major in Business Marketing and Graphic design with intent to graduate in 2013-2014. Once my coursework is completed, God willing, I will attend Graduate School to receive an MBA in Business Finance.
